Shout-For-Shout FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions about SFS.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How often do I need to refresh my stats?

A: If you have a free account with us, you’ll get a reminder every 30 days to update your Top % and subscriber/follower count. Just revisit the “Verify Your Stats” screen and either re‑sync via the browser extension or upload a new screen recording. Pro users don’t need to worry about this—your stats are refreshed automatically every day.

Q: What’s the difference between SFS and Drops?

A: Shout for Shout (SFS) is a one‑on‑one swap where you promote another creator and they promote you. Drops are group collaborations: multiple creators are featured together in a shared post or collage. Drops unlock after your stats are verified and your profile is listed. They’re optional; you can stick with SFS if you prefer.

Q: Do I need to upgrade to Pro?

A: No—most ShareYourFans™️ features are free, including access to SFS, Drops, and basic listing features. Pro adds conveniences like daily stat syncing, content scheduling with expiring posts, and AI‑powered messaging tools. You can upgrade at any time, but it’s completely optional.

Q: How do I manage notifications?

A: By default, you’ll receive emails about important updates (verification status, collaboration requests, stat refresh reminders). You can opt in to or out of welcome emails during sign‑up. We also have web notifications that are sent directly to you on ShareYourFans™️.

Q: What are reviews and star ratings?

A: After completing an SFS or Drop, creators can rate each other and leave short reviews. A higher star score reflects a reliable partner who follows through on commitments. Leaving honest feedback helps maintain trust within the community.

Q: What happens if my request is declined?

A: If a creator declines your SFS request, you’re free to send a counter‑offer that better matches their requirements or simply look for another partner. It’s normal for creators to have different requirements and different SFS frequency preferences—don’t take declines personally.

Q: What do I do if my SFS partner doesn’t do their part of the collab?

A: If a creator doesn’t fulfill their part of your collab, the first thing to do is to reach out to them in your collab chat and ask for some clarification. We find that 99% of the time there is either confusion with the collab, the software, or the the way the platform shows creators posts they’re tagged in. If you don’t get an answer, please feel free to reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to contact the creator so they can make it right. We expect all creators on our platform to communicate politely with each other and to do as they promised in their collabs.

Q: Where can I find help or tutorials?

A: The Help & Support link (usually in the sidebar) leads to our knowledge base with articles and step‑by‑step guides. You can also use the “Contact Support” form to message our team directly. We’re always happy to assist!
