Using the Bot in a ShareYourFans™ Drop
After joining the group and verifying your stats, you’re ready to participate in Drops. Here’s how it works:
- Drop Opening:
- An admin will open the Drop within the group. Once the Drop is open, participants can submit their content and caption.
- Submitting Content:
- The picture content must:
- Be of the creator of the page being dropped.
- Be non-nude and adhere to policies similar to Instagram’s guidelines.
- The caption must include the link to the platform profile that matches the Drop Group requirements.
Example:
Type /drop username, hit enter, and then send the photo and caption in a separate message, which would look like this:
/drop username

- Drop State:
- After submitting your profile, you will wait until the Drop either closes or gets canceled (due to insufficient participants or other reasons).
- After all participants have submitted their content, the admin host will close the Drop using the bot, or the Drop will automatically close if it has been 24 hours or all available spots have been filled.
- Compilation:
- In the closed state, the admin host will compile the collage, platform post flyer image, and the caption made up of all participants' captions. Once finished, the admin will send the content into the Drop group and change the group status to the scheduling state.
The bot will send automatically send an update message to the group:

- Scheduling Posts:
- During the scheduling state, each participant will manually schedule their posts (x10, x20, etc.) according to the correct timezone. Participants must show a screenshot of the queued posts and confirm that the post is public and not set to private. This ensures fairness and accountability.
- ShareYourFans basic users will manually schedule posts, while future updates to the platform aim to automate this process. Until then, the team manually reviews each submission.
- After scheduling, return to the Drop group and type /ss username. The bot will respond with:
- "Please upload all of your screenshots for the profile [username] in the time zone [timezone]. Type /sent when all screenshots have been sent, or /web to change your timezone on the ShareYourFans™ website."
- Confirmation:
- After submitting screenshots and typing /sent, you will receive a confirmation message:
- "Your screenshots for the profile [username] in the time zone [timezone] have been submitted. Please wait for an administrator to review them."
- Completion:
- Wait for all participants to complete their scheduling and screenshot submissions. The bot will mention users who have not completed their tasks when the admin uses the appropriate command. Once all posts are submitted and reviewed, the Drop is marked as completed.
- Networking State:
- After the Drop is completed, the group enters a networking state where creators can connect and collaborate.
